Day-Wise Itinerary:

Day 1: Dehradun to Sankri (Drive – 200 km, 8-9 hours)

  • Elevation: 6,398 ft
  • Accommodation: Guesthouse or Homestay in Sankri
  • Meals Included: Dinner

Arrive early in Dehradun and set off on a scenic drive to Sankri. Along the way, enjoy the mesmerizing views of Himalayan landscapes, including rivers, forests, and remote villages. Reach Sankri by late afternoon, where you can explore the village or rest for the upcoming trek.


Day 2: Sankri to Pauni Garaat via Taluka (12 km, 6-7 hours)

  • Elevation: 8,250 ft
  • Accommodation: Camping
  • Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, take a short drive to Taluka (12 km), the starting point of your trek. Begin trekking through forests of oak and pine, following the river Supin. The trail is a mix of gentle slopes and steep stretches, passing through picturesque villages like Gangad and Datmir. Arrive at Pauni Garaat by evening and camp near the river.


Day 3: Pauni Garaat to Simatra (8 km, 5-6 hours)

  • Elevation: 9,500 ft
  • Accommodation: Camping
  • Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

The trek today takes you through a dense forested area with gradual ascents and descents, crossing streams and enjoying spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. Reach Simatra, a campsite nestled in a beautiful meadow, by late afternoon. Relax and prepare for the next day’s trek to Har Ki Dun.


Day 4: Simatra to Har Ki Dun and back to Simatra (10 km, 6-7 hours)

  • Elevation: 11,675 ft (Har Ki Dun)
  • Accommodation: Camping
  • Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today’s trek involves a moderate ascent to the Har Ki Dun Valley. The trail offers incredible views of snow-capped peaks, including the majestic Swargarohini range. Upon reaching Har Ki Dun, explore the valley, enjoy the scenery, and take short hikes around. After soaking in the beauty of the valley, return to Simatra for the night.


Day 5: Simatra to Gangar (8 km, 5-6 hours)

  • Elevation: 8,000 ft
  • Accommodation: Camping
  • Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Begin your descent from Simatra towards the village of Gangar. The trail offers splendid views of the valley below, passing through forested paths, small streams, and traditional Himalayan villages. Reach Gangar by late afternoon and set up camp near the river.


Day 6: Gangar to Dehradun (Trek to Taluka and drive 200 km, 8-9 hours)

  • Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch

On the final day, trek back to Taluka, where your vehicle will be waiting to drive you back to Dehradun. The drive will bring you through the same stunning Himalayan vistas you enjoyed on the way up. Reach Dehradun by evening, marking the end of your Har Ki Dun adventure.


Inclusions:

  • All meals during the trek (Vegetarian)
  • Accommodation in tents or guesthouses (Sankri)
  • Trek leader and experienced support staff
  • Equipment for trekking, such as tents, toilet seats, sleeping bags, crampons etc..
  • Forest permits and camping charges
  • First-aid medical kit and oxygen cylinder
  • Transportation from Dehradun to Dehradun, beginning with pick-up on Day 1 and ending with drop on last day. (Optional Add-ons on booking page)

Exclusions:

  • Any personal expenses like tips, food from stalls during travelling from Dehradun to Dehradun.
  • Backpack offloading charges additional (300/ Per Day / Per Bag)
  • Travel insurance
  • Anything not mentioned in the inclusions

CANCELLATION POLICY


The cancellation policy is based on the original booking time

and original start date of the trek.


  • Cancel before 30 days of trek start date and get full refund
  • Cancel before 15 days of trek start date and get refund after
  • deduction of 20% of total trek fee.
  • Cancel before 10 days of trek start date and get refund after
  • deduction of 40% of total trek fee.
  • Cancel before 5 days of trek start date and get refund after
  • deduction of 60% of total trek fee.
  • Trek fee is non-refundable if you cancel within 4 days before
  • trek start date.
